FILING DEADLINES FOR THE NOVEMBER 2026 ELECTION

The Magistrate Judges and Nonpartisan Candidate Filing Opening date for the November 3rd Election is August 17, 2026. The closing date is August 28, 2026.

The Ballot Question Submission Deadline for the May 19th Election is August 28, 2026.

The Write In Candidate Deadline is September 4, 2026.

The Candidate Withdrawal Deadline is September 4, 2026.

PRE-ELECTION REGISTRATION CUTOFF FOR THE NOVEMBER 3RD ELECTION

The deadline to pre-register for the November 3, 2026, election is October 23, 2026. You can register online at voteidaho.gov with a valid Idaho driver’s license, or you can come into our office at 5815 Graye Ln. Caldwell, ID 83607, to register in person.

ABSENTEE BALLOT INFORMATION FOR THE NOVEMBER 3RD ELECTION

The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the November 3, 2026 election is October 23, 2026.

Registered voters may request an Absentee Ballot by completing and signing a request form and submitting it to the Elections Office before 5:00 p.m. on May 8, 2026. You can sign up for an absentee ballot on voteidaho.gov , or requests may be mailed, scanned and emailed, or delivered to the Canyon County Elections Office at 5815 Graye Ln. Caldwell, Idaho 83607.

Once voted, Absentee Ballots must be returned to the Elections Office at 5815 Graye Ln. Caldwell, Idaho 83607 by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

EARLY VOTING FOR THE NOVEMBER 3RD ELECTION

Early voting will be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on the following dates and at the following locations:

ELECTION DAY FOR THE NOVEMBER 2026 ELECTION

Election Day Voting will be held on November 3, 2026. You may vote anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. You can look up your polling location, precinct, and legislative district on our Voter Lookup Tool.

LOGIC AND ACCURACY TEST FOR THE NOVEMBER 4TH ELECTION

The Logic and Accuracy Test will be held at the Canyon County Elections Office (5815 Graye Ln., Caldwell, ID 83607). Time and date to be announced.
